Fund Development Director

Reports to: Board of Directors
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience in a health related organization preferred

Essential Job Functions:
1. Fundraising, Publicity, & Recruitment (Approximately 60%)

  • Work with PRIDE Philanthropy to reach fundraising goals

  • Attend and travel to various events, conferences and workshops to increase CCCHC awareness in the  community for fundraising purposes

  • Meet with individuals, foundations, businesses, and organizations to solicit donor partnerships with CCCHC

  • Maintain a database of donors using Salesforce and send out regular updates to CCCHC partners throughout the year, via newsletters, emails, or other forms of correspondence


2. Participate in the strategic planning process and help develop ongoing organizational plans particular to fund development. (Approximately 15%)

  • Provide volunteer-related reports for fundraising (i.e. funds raised, volunteer hours, milestones and achievements)

  • Prepare status reports for board meetings

  • Submit a budget for fund development

3. Recruit/Solicit, orientate, train, schedule, evaluate, and appreciate CCCHC volunteers in fund development. Other duties include participating in outreach events as it relates to fundraising, train fundraising committees and volunteers involved in fund development and fundraising, coordinate fundraising social events for volunteers. (Approximately 15%)

4. Ensure the following human resource responsibilities are being completed:

  • Supervise employees and interns in fund development

  • Develop job descriptions for fund development department roles/positions

  • Conduct a yearly review for all employees in fund development

5. Assist with the fund development relevant maintenance of CCCHC’s outreach materials (including website, Facebook page, other social media, and written materials).


6. Other duties as assigned.
